I found KMST to be an analogical compass to the captain of a yacht drifting in the sea loosing the direction. I think Dikshya is a compass which helps to trace the trial of study abroad opportunities.
The Medical College is a key teaching unit of China Three Gorges University with a history of about 60 years. The teaching and learning conditions are excellent and the campus environment is a gift of God. Chine Three Gorges University Medical College consists of 4 programs for undergraduates, i.e., Clinical Medicine, Combination of Chinese and Western Medicine, Medicine Imaging and Nursing. These programs recruit students from all over China and foreign countries.
The MBBS program for foreign students in English medium was started in 2003 is a five and half-year long clinical medicine course (including one year compulsory internship). Since 2007 the university has started a bi-lingual six-year long clinical medicine course (including internship).
The MBBS course is taught by foreign faculties and Chinese faculties.
It must be kept in mind that the students need to take Chinese language course in order to pass HSK (Hanyu Suiping Kaoshi, the Chinese Proficiency Test) Grade 6 before being awarded an MBBS degree as required by the Chinese Ministry of Education for foreign students. Special classes are arranged for Chinese language classes to the students so that they can independently take history, do physical examination and perform needful procedures during their posting in the hospital.
Every year 5 to 10% of the total students are awarded scholarships after one year of study on the basis of that year’s academic performance.
